7-ELEVEN x Ja’marr Chase
When Ja’Marr Chase had a record-breaking day for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals he told reporters “ 7ELEVEn, brother, that’s all I got to say. I’m always open.” creating the social reactive opportunity of the year for 7ELEVEn.
In less than 1 week, along with our in-house partners at 7ELEVEn, we not only responded to Chase’s statement with social posts, we quickly signed him to an NIL deal and launched a merch storefront for fans hungry to join in the “Always Open” movement. Chase walked the tunnel in our 7ELEVEn gear and even wore a 7ELEVEn chain during gameplay, causing that particular piece of merch to instantly sell-out. In our social posts that next weekend, we used CGI to replace our “Always Open” signs on our storefronts to “Ja’Marr Chase”, signaling the start of our partnership.
The internet loved it. So did industry trades and sports media alike.
